It’s a vicious circle. Go to bed and wake up in pain. The cycle is then repeated on a nightly basis. At the end of the day the news is bad. Most of the time things can only get worse unless you intervene with some form of anti inflammatory drug. We all know the ramifications of that.

Magnetic pillows and the magnetic underlay have been in Australia for some decades now.   I personally feel the quality and acceptance of the magnetic underlays for beds have multiplied in only the last ten years. In the early days people would look at me as if I was selling snake oil, but today’s customers are very different. They want all the information before making their decision. What is the strength of the magnet used in the magnetic underlay? How many magnets are in the magnetic underlay? The questions are varied. How do they work? Magnets embedded in the magnetic underlay and pillows may be several inches from the body’s surface, and their relationship to any specific acupuncture sites keeps changing. Their effectiveness suggests that benefits do not depend on precise placement or field strength, which falls off with the square of the distance from the patient. The reason why the underlay works so well is because of the much greater number of magnets used as well as their stronger gauss strengths.  Keep in mind it is the accumulation of all the magnets in one place which makes all the difference.  These factors can overcome the lack of skin contact and the lack of local acupuncture sitting.
As a consequence of sleeping on your magnetic underlay the positive and negative ions of the blood react in a therapeutic manner with the poles of the magnets, which in turn assists with your body’s blood flow. This increase in lymphatic drainage naturally increases your ability to reduce toxic waste and the end result is pain relief. This is the simple version. Read a more detailed version in one of my other articles. With the magnetic underlay there is an end to the vicious cycle of pain and life (and bedtime) becomes more manageable. Keep in mind that sleeping on a magnetic underlay of a night time has a residual flow on effect into the day time. This of course varies from person to person.

But there is an important factor that the novice may not even think about. Consider the strength of the magnets in your magnetic underlay and how many there are?

The closer the magnet is to the body the more therapeutic your magnetic underlay will be. Remember that the magnets strength quickly diminishes as it is further away from the body. This important consideration may mean the difference between pain relief and disappointment.

At the end of the day remember the closer the magnet is to the body the great the therapeutic result from using your magnetic underlay. People in pain are not happy people. I see it daily with the customers I consult with. It’s all about quality of life. Strong medicines of the modern age all  have their reactions and sometimes fatal consequences. The magnetic underlay is based on a natural system of treatment, based on natural laws and principles, which do not show harmful side effects. It is a drug free natural alternative.

A double blind clinical study was done in Japan in 1990 using a magnetic underlay in three hospitals. The 431 subjects were tested and observed closely for any side effects. The magnetic underlay used 104 magnets, each of them 750-950 Gauss strength.

More that 70% of the patients had results within five days.
The improvements in back and lower back pain ranged from 68.49 to 92.04%;
In lower limb pain from 66.82 to 97.47%
In insomnia from 76.82 to 94.98%
In Fatigue from 70.64 to 94.98%

The practitioners of every system of medicine plead and emphasise that while a patient is under their care and is taking their medicine, no other treatment should be given, side by side. But using magnetic therapy like the magnetic underlay does not follow the above general convention. As this system of treatment is based on natural laws, works in conformity with nature and is an aid to the natural process of healing. It has therefore no harmful side effects which could endanger the life of the patient. The magnetic underlay is a drug free alternative for pain relief.
