ONE: You need to get the Best Quality product, for the best price.

You may not think of this, but you can pay to much for a quality magnetic underlay.

Be aware of cheap imitations made in countries with cheap labour and materials. If you know what you are looking for, you can buy at a good price and still get high quality. Remember that most of the imported underlays are marked up very high to give you the impression of quality. The truth be known they are only making a greater profit at your expense.

TWO: Magnetic Strength is Critical.

The most accepted measure of magnetic strength is in Surface Gauss. Most magnetic companies have 800 to 1000 Gauss magnets. By comparison we use a more powerful 1200 Surface Gauss magnet. We have done this by using a health magnet with a larger diameter and depth.

Some sneaky companies will quote the magnetic strength in core Gauss. The most common overstatement is 3950 Gauss. You may say “wow that’s strong” where in fact 3950 core Gauss is really 1000 surface Gauss. Now you know.

Many companies will use the words “powerful magnets” or “Power Magnets” but they do not actually tell you what the strength of the magnets are. The reason being that they may not want you to know or just impress you.

THREE: The Number of Magnets Used.

It pays to compare. The more magnets used in the underlay will impact on the underlays therapeutic benefit. Similar to the magnetic strength, many magnetic companies do not state the number of magnets used again for the obvious reasons.

So the greater the number of magnets and magnetic Gauss strength may mean the difference between pain relief and disappointment.

FOUR: You need to know the Country of Manufacture.

If the product information does not state where it was made, then they probably don’t want you to know. As I indicated earlier. there are many cheap inferior products made in countries with cheap labour and cheap materials. Unless you are familiar with the company, buy from a country with a reputation of quality.

Many companies use the term “Australian owned” which may give the inference of “Australian Made” when it fact that is not the case.

Magnetic underlays come in both wool and cotton finish. When you compare companies, you will find that many companies will use the term “Australian Wool”. These products are still not made in Australia.

FIVE: The Design and Quality are Critical.

Read the product description to find the materials the products is made from. For example what fabric is used?
and check out the design features too.

Is it easy to use?

Is it strong and reliable?

Is the cover washable, and is it removable?

What personal expertise does the company have the in the field of magnetic therapy?

Many underlays are made in countries where there is cheap labour and materials.

SIX: The Product must Work and must be comfortable.

You are going to be spending a lot of time sleeping on this underlay so it better work, and be comfortable to sleep on.

It is best for the magnets in the product to be north facing to promote maximum healing. It is also important that the magnets be in close contact to the body to ensure maximum therapeutic benefit. Think about when you have played with a couple of magnets. They are very strong when close together but the strength quickly diminishes as you pull them apart. The more material you place on top of the magnets in the magnetic underlay the less effective it becomes.

The underlay must also be comfortable to sleep on. Underlays vary from cheap wadding to comfy convoluted bases.

Osteoporosis is a condition in which a  progressive decrease in the density of bones weakens the bones, making fractures likely. With the weakening of the bones there is a great increase of inflammation and pain in the soft muscle tissues. Leaving you in constant pain and discomfort.

About 8 Million woman and 2 Million Men in the United States shave osteoporosis.

There are two main types of osteoporosis: Primarily osteoporosis which occurs spontaneously, and  secondary osteoporosis which is caused by another disease. and occurs in fewer than 5% of people who have osteoporosis. The Single magnetic underlay uses a natural method of passive magnetic therapy where you don’t have to wear anything on your body. You just sleep on it, and receive its therapeutic effects to the whole body. For many people, going to bed may be their worst fear as many wake up in the morning stiff and sore. Others who have a more chronic issue may awaken in the middle of the night in pain.

As you lay still your circulation slows down. Your ability to rid your body of toxic wastes (lymphatic drainage) is in turn diminished. The result is that inflammation increases and you suffer pain. The reason why the underlay works so well is because of the much greater number of health magnets used as well as their stronger gauss strengths. Keep in mind it is the accumulation of all the magnets in one place which makes all the difference. These factors can overcome the lack of skin contact and the lack of local acupuncture sitting.

LATEST REPORT: We received my latest inspection report dated the 5 November 2009 from my magnetic supplier upon my last delivery of raw magnets. They tested the strength of both sides of the magnets as part of a quality control . The North of the magnets in that batch varied between 1200 and 1240 Gauss with an average rating of 1215.5 Gauss. The Gauss ratings appear to differ with the slight variations in the diameter and thickness of each individual magnet.

The practitioners of every system of medicine plead and emphasise that while a patient is under their care and is taking their medicine, no other treatment should be given, side by side.
